1. Centre infuses ₹50,000 crore incentive package to boost the exports and reviving the housing sector. There will be new scheme for remission of duties or taxes on  export product to incentivise exporters. RBI to modify priority sector lending norms to increase credit o exports by  ₹36,000 to  ₹68,000 crore.---the statement from finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

2. Indian U-19 Cricket team has lifted the Asia cup by defeating Bangladesh in Srilanka. 

3. Director Anurag Kashyap's cult film 'Gangs of Wasseypur' has become the only Indian film to feature in the Guardian list of 100 best film of the 21st century.

4. World Bank will provide Rs 3,000 crore assistance to finance mini and mega food parks across India.The announcement was made by Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries during the 15th Indo-US Economic Summit in New Delhi.

5. Indian legendary world cup winning captain Kapil Dev has appointed the first Chancellor of Sports University, Rai (Sonepat) by the Haryana government.

6.  UNESCO has decided to translate and publish an anthology of writings of Baba Guru Nanak Dev , the founder of Sikhism in world language to commemorate 550th birth anniversary of this Sikh Guru.

7. Ministry  for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey laid the foundation stone for Indian Institute of Skills in Mumbai (IIS-Mumbai). Centre has approved the setting up of Indian Institute of Skills (IIS) in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Kanpur. This very institute will be constructed and operated on PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) model.

8. The Railway Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for evaluating the green initiatives and rate the performance of its industrial units pursuing environmentally sustainable practices. It has developed a Green Co Rating system to evaluate the various steps and rate them.

9. Former England's opener and captain Andrew Strauss has been appointed as the chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board’s cricket committee.

10. The centre has planned besides The National Intelligence Grid or NATGRID to connect to social media with records including immigration entry,  banking, and phone numbers and all database information in one platform case. The NATGRID was first constructed in 2009 with spending limit of ₹ 2800 crore.
