1. Justice P Lakshmana Reddy, a retired judge of Andhra High court appointed as the first Lokayukta of Andhra Pradesh. Justice P Lakshmana Reddy would serve in office of Lokayukta for 5 years.

The maritime connectivity will enable high-end support to those in sea by providing access to Voice, Data and Video services while traveling on sailing vessels, cruise liners, ships in India using satellite technology.

5. It's again Indian poster boy ''Pankaj Advani'' won IBSF word billiards championship. He has now 22 world titles now in a row.

6. Doordarshan turned 60 years on yesterday brings back of lots of old gold memories with different programmes in this channel . Prasar Bharati has revealed this old memories. 

7. India made a silver splash at the IITF World Asian and Cadet Championship as the country's accomplished table tennis player Payas Jain and junior boys team bagged silver in Cadet Boy's Singles and Junior Boys' Team events.

8. Osama -bin-Laden's son Hamza-bin -Laden is died near Afghanistan-Pakistan border- US convoy has announced the news globally.

9.  Former bureaucrat B.N. Yugandhar, who served as Secretary to the PMO between May 1995 and March 1997 during former PM P.V. Narasimha Rao’s term, passed  recently. He was the father of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadala .

10. Five Indian women police officers were honoured by the United Nations for their commendable services in the world body’s mission in South Sudan.
