1. India’s first National Antimicrobial Resistance Hub was recently inaugurated in Kolkata. This centre would be the hub for research on antibiotic resistance not only for the country but for the entire South Asia.

2.   Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honoured by Microsoft 'Bill Gates' in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 which gave the state its special status. A dozen people, some wearing Free Kashmir T-shirts, with the Justice For All coalition delivered 100,000 petition signatures to the Gates Foundation's Seattle headquarters.

3. Meghalaya based rights activist named ''Agnes Kharshiing'' who survived an assault by the coal mafia in the last year has received the 11th international 'Hrant Dink Award' with Turkish activist against male violence Nebhat Akkoc.

4. An innovative project for constructing a' floating school' for Bangladeshi children has been awarded the prestigious Aga Khan Architecture award 2019.

5. In Tripura  three day long traditional 'NEERMAHAL JAL' Utsav concluded with eye catching boat racing and swimming at Rudrasagar lake.

6. Solomon Island has cut official ties with Taiwan in a blow to president Tsai Ingwen for his recent election . Approx 900 islands are in a part of this Solomon island.

7. Arunachal CM Shri Prema Khandu  has dedicated 'Dikshi Hydroelectric' project for the people of the very state. The capacity of this plant is 24 mega watt.

8. India's rising professional tennis star Sumit Nagal jumped 15 places to achieve a career-high ranking of 159 in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals ATP rankings. The 22-year-old from Haryana ended runners up in the Banja Luka ATP Challenger following a first-round appearance at the US Open.

9. Ajay Kumar Singh appointed as Press Secretary to President Ram Nath Kovind. He is currently associated with the First post as a contributor.

10. DRDO has handed over a new generation warning software developed by New Delhi based Institute for Systems Studies and Analysis (ISSA) to the Indian Navy. This software is aimed at creating an environment that would enable Maritime Warfare Centres (MWCs) to train using latest technological and computing tools.
