1. 'Being Gandhia new book titled written by award-winning author Paro Anand. It marks the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The book is published by Harper Collins Children’s Books, explores the life events of Mahatma Gandhi.

2. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched “Champions Campaign” to fight dengue and urged citizens to become ‘champions’ and encourage 10 friends to check their homes for mosquito larvae. 

3. Ranveer Singh starring movie Gully Bo has been selected as India's official entry to the 92nd Oscar Awards. This movie has directed by Zoya Akhtar.


4. Bajrang Punia won a bronze medal at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. He has defeated Tulga Tumur Ochir.

5. Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad, Telangana ranked 7th globally and 1st in Asia in the Forbes Best International 1-Year Business Schools 2019 rankings. The Forbes surveyed more than 100 schools.

6. Indian melody maestro Sonu Nigam was honoured with the Magnificent Performing Arts Award at the 21st Century Icon Awards in London. Nigam was among a host of winners across a range of categories at a gala awards ceremony held at the UK.


7. Indigo has appointed Pallavi Shardul Shroff as an independent woman director of the company. She is an advocate.

8. Nasscom’s Data Security Council of India (DSCI) collaborated with the electronics and IT ministry and Google India to launch a nationwide awareness campaign ‘Digital Payment Abhiyan’.

9. IDBI Bank’s Board of Directors has appointed Samuel Joseph Jebaraj as Deputy Managing Director  for a period of 3 years.


10. For the welfare of cancer patients today i.e 22nd September celebrated as 'Rose Day'. The Day aims to spread a message to all cancer patients that they can fight the disease with strong willpower and spirit.
