1. A 'Higher Education Bill' that aims to create a single regulator for higher education , replacing University Grant Commission((UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education  (AICTE) shall be introduced in forthcoming winter session - As per HRD Ministry.

6. The Labour Ministry notified 8.65% rate of interest on Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) for the year 2018-19. The increased 8.65% rate is a 10 basis point (bps) increase from the 8.55% paid in 2017-18, but the same as the rate paid in 2016-17. The EPF rate was 8.8% for the year 2015-16. Aim: The increase in the interest rate of EPF will enable crediting the interest amount of Rs.54,000 crore into accounts of over 6 crore subscribers.

9.17 years old  'Payal Jangid', an Indian teenager, received the Changemaker Award at the Goalkeepers Global Goals Awards in New York. The award recognized her campaign to end child labour and child marriage. The award was presented to her by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

10. The Gandhi Solar park at the UN headquarters in the New York has been set up by India. Also India has made a Gandhi Peace Garden there where lots of three shall be rowed.
