1. GST collection in the last month i.e in August was ₹98 Thousand 202 crore slight bit low from the usual collection including 40% SGST.

2. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated country's longest electrified rail tunnel between Cheropalli and Rupuru in Andhra and the electrified railway line between Venkatachalam and Obulavaripalli. The length of this tunnel is 6.6 km.

3. Tejinderpal Singh , Indian shot putter has bagged silver medal in Czech Republic.

4.  J C Satyendra N. Bose Fellowship Award has won by K Thangaraj who is the Chief scientist at the Centre for Cellular and biology (CCMB) in Hyderabad .He was awarded for his outstanding scientific contributions within the field of population and medical genetics.

5. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has partnered with Google for Build for Digital India programme.  The key motif behind this Statement of Intent is to encourage the engineering or  college students across India to innovate and produce some good technology solutions for major social challenges of India.

6. Month September is celebrated as ''Rashtriya Poshan Maah''.The theme of this POSHAN abhiyaan is 'Complementary Feeding'.

7. 4th South Asian Speaker's Summit which has begun at Male, Maldives. Lok Sabha speaker honourable Om Birla has represented India. The key focus is achieving the  'Sustainable Development Goal'.

8. According to a "Global Happiness Survey" by Ipsos, Indian has been ranked 9th on the happiness index among 28 global markets.While Australia and Canada takes the top spot. For India, there has been a six per cent drop (from 83 per cent in 2018 to 77 per cent in 2019).

9. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has inaugurated the 72nd session of WHO Regional Committee of South East Asia in New Delhi.This session provides a unique opportunity to identify innovative solutions to common problems that countries in this diverse region face.

10. State government of Rajasthan has launched a new health insurance scheme Ayushman Bharat-Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Swasthya Bima Yojna (AB-MGRSBY). Under this scheme around 1.1 crore families will be covered.
