1. Senior IAS officer Arvind Singh has appointed as a chairman of Airport Authority of India (AAI) . He is at presently working in Maharashtra.

2. India has signed Kartarpur pact with Pakistan for the next 5 years and the pilgrims to comeback within a day . They also can travel with maximum 7kg with them.

3. Praveen Kumar has become the 1st Indian man to win a gold medal at the Wushu World Championships. He defeated Philippines’ Russel Diaz by 2-1 in the men’s sanda event in the 48kg category of the 15th World Wushu Championships held in Shanghai.

4. India has heightens 14 notches in ease of doing business ranking. Moves 63rd position from 77 last year rankings out of 190 countries. This list has topped by New Zealand.

5.  Indian Railways launched the “one touch ATVM” at 42 suburban stations yesterday. The purpose of the service is to render fast ticketing to millions of commuters, especially in the Mumbai Suburban Network.

6. Ministry of Environment , Forest and Climate change has launched the first national protocol to enumerate the 'Snow Leopard population' on the eve International Snow Leopard day on 23rd Oct.

7. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Indian badminton player PV Sindhu were named the ambassadors for Bharat Ki Laxmi. It is an initiative by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The aim of this initiative is to celebrate the contribution & accomplishments of women of the nation for the public good.

8. Veteran Mumbai Cricket all rounder Abhishek Nair has taken retirement from all forms of cricket. He played 103 first-class games, most of them for Mumbai, and scored 5749 runs with 13 centuries and 32 fifties while taking 173 wickets in a career spanning a decade and a half.

9. Ministry of Panchayati Raj Sri Narendra Sing Tomar has conferred the National Panchayat awards and also launched a mobile app named 'Gram Manchitra'. through which villagers can know about the facts in their Panchayat.

10. Jailed Uighur intellectual Ilham Tohti  has given to Sakharov prize for the human rights by European Parliament. Actually he is a professor in Beijing University.
