Top 10 Current Affairs of 26th Oct:

1. Brazil intends to allow Indian's without Visas in their country visit. They have already given to the US's and UK's. So its a very good news for Indian travelers.

2. Jasprit Bumrah and Smriti Mandhana has won Wisden India Awards for their classic performance at international level.

3. J&K’s Chenani-Nashri Tunnel, a 9 km-long tunnel that reduces the distance between Jammu and Srinagar by 31 km has been renamed as Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Tunnel.

4.  Girish Chandra Murmu is Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir replaced former governor SatyaPal Malik. Also Radha Krishna Mathur will become the Lieutenant Governor in Ladakh.

5. India has improved its ranking to 32nd position in terms of providing pension and retirement benefits to citizens as compared to last year. Netherlands has topped the list.

6. World Bank has released Ease of Doing business Rankings which includes 190 countries. As per the rankings, India has jumped 14 places and has been ranked at 63rd among 190 countries. New Zealand has topped the list.

7. The Centre , World Bank and Odisha govt. signed a loan agreement of worth US $165 mn for the farmers . 

8. Global -Bio- India, 2019 summit will be held in New Delhi from 21st Nov to 23rd Nov. In this summit top level biomedical stalk holders shall participate.

9. Birender Singh Yadav appointed as India's next Ambassador to Iraq, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) A 1997-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Yadav is expected to take up the assignment shortly.

10. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy has released the Bureau of Police Research and Development’s flagship publication “Data on Police Organizations” (DoPO 2018) in New Delhi.
