1. According to CPCB the natioanal capital's air quality dropped to the season's worst on the morning after Diwali, but the situation was still better than the last three years, according to government agencies.

2. Centre plans to make Ladakh the first Indian UT to run entirely on renewable energy. The newly carved out union territory has already about 30 megawatts (MW) of small hydro projects, and the government wants to install solar generation units to meet all its power demand from renewable energy sources.

3. CM Sri Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh has launched a valuable scheme “Mukhya Mantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana”. The scheme will provide Rs 15,000 to every family where a girl child is born. It will be released in a phased manner.The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh to launch a new integrated emergency number 112 for police, medical and fire emergencies, and also the women helpline 1090, replaces '100' as helpline no.

4. PM Sri Narendra Modi will embark on visit Saudi Arabia today. He has a meeting with Saudi crown prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and will a discussion for bi-lateral relationship between two countries and after that launching of RUPAY card.

5. Senior BJP leader Manohar Lal has been sworn-in as Chief Minister of Haryana. Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya administered him the oath of office and secrecy at a function at Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh on Sunday.

6. Maharatna’ status has been granted by the Government to state-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited(HPCL) and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.

7. India's top men double shuttler Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty lost to world No.1 pair of Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo in the finals of the French Open in Paris yesterday.

8. The Archaeological Survey of India(ASI) has recently discovered in Andhra there was a maritime center near the banks of Swarnamukhi river around 2,000 years ago. The Kalyani Dam is constructed across the river at Tirupati city.

9. US defence secretary Mark Esper has confirmed the death of ISIS leader and world's most wanted terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in an American air raid in northwest Syria. He was leading the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria terrorist movement.

10. India's own domestic payment platform ''Unified Payments Interface (UPI)—hit a landmark of one billion in October , three years after its launch. It has already crossed 100 million users recently and proceeding towards worlds most fastest payment system.
