5. The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd.(NPCIL) acknowledges malware attack at Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu.

6. Odisha Government is to partner with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)-based Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), co-founded by Nobel laureates Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo. The partnership aims for the targeted intervention in a set of social sectors, including the poorest of the poor, through policy formulation and evaluations based on experimental research.

7. Mercedes’ driver and 5-time world champion Lewis Hamilton clinched his 10th win of the season for Mercedes at the Mexican Grand Prix 2019.

8. The Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman has released a special commemorative coin on Paramahansa Yogananda. The coin has been released to mark Paramahansa Yogananda’s 125th birth anniversary.

9. Argentine diplomat Rafael Grossi has appointed as International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) chief.

10. From today i.e 31st Oct , Jammu and Kashmir becomes India's UT and separates from Ladakh province. It also gets its first Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu .
