1. Former PM Dr. Manmohan Sigh will join first 'Jatha ' i.e batch of pilgrims to Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan. Our honourable PM Modi also take part in 550th birth anniversary of Sikh Guru 'Guru Nanak' in Punjab.

2. Padma Bhusan awardee Nutrition scientist C Gopalan has passed away. He was the former director general of ICMR.

3. Palestine has released a commemorative postage stamp on Mahatma Gandhi, honouring his legacy and values, to mark the 150 birth anniversary of the world leader.

4. Centre has appointed Ch S S Mallikarjuna Rao as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Punjab National Bank (PNB). He will be appointed for a tenure of next two years.

5. On Oct 2 Chattisgarh govt has launched the following five schemes:
                         ⇒ Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan
                          ⇒Mukhyamantri Haat Bazaar Clinic Yojana
                         ⇒ Mukhyamatri Shahariya Slum Swasthya Yojana
                         ⇒ Mukhyamantri Ward Karyalaya

6. Delhi- Katra  'Vanade Bharat Express' has been started by Home Minister Shri Amit Shah which will reduce the travel time from 12hrs to 8 hrs at low price approx ₹1500.

7. Axis Bank, India’s third-largest private sector bank has launched the ‘Express FD’, a digital fixed deposit (FD) product that allows a customer to open an FD account in 3 minutes through the digital mode without opening a savings account with the bank.

8. Indian Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar received most effective 'Swachhata Ambassador award' from the President on the eve of 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji for his great initiative to open a school and spread awareness among the children .

9. Bank of Baroda  has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Army under which the bank would offer customized services along with a host of facilities to account holders. It includes handsome free personal accident insurance cover, free air accident insurance cover of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 50 lakh and an overdraft facility up to three times of monthly net salary.

10. Pakistan's women cricketer Nida Dar becomes the first female to sign a deal with overseas cricket league.
