1. First comprehensive National Nutritional survey has come and it has reported only less than 7% of under -2 years age kids in India gets  their adequate diet.

2. The Punjab government has appointed Justice Vinod Kumar Sharma (retired) as the new Lokpal. The Lokpal holds the office for a term of 6 years.

3 Ministry of Health and Family welfare has launched ''E – Dant Seva'' . It is an initiative under the National Oral Health Program. The initiative aims to sensitize the importance of maintaining oral health. It provides information about nearest oral health service facility. It also provides oral health information collected from authentic scientific sources.

4. Switzerland shares its bank account details with Indian governments, and also with other 74 countries. In this format US has tops the list followed by UK and India takes 74th spot.

5. World Trade Organisation, WTO will host the first World Cotton Day celebrations in Geneva , Switzerland. More than 400 participants will be celebrating cotton in Geneva with thousand more around the world.

6. Indrajit Mohanty has been sworn in as new chief justice in Rajasthan High Court. He took oath from governor Kalraj Mishra.

7. Austria’s Christine Wolf has won the Hero Women’s Indian Open at Gurugram, Haryana. It is actually her first tile after drought 6 year carrier.

8. Union Finance Ministry Dr. Nirmala Sitharaman has inaugurated 'National e-Assessment centre' in capital city New Delhi. That will links with income tax department.

9. India's first e-Waste clinic shall be set up in Bhopal , Madhya Pradesh. That initiative has been taken by the MP's govt.

10.The festival of Vijaya Dashami and Dussehra is being celebrated today with traditional fervour. President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu greeted the people on the eve of Dussehra. This day symbolizes the victory of good over evil, truth over untruth and justice over injustice.
