1. 'Spirit of Kerala' short film from Malayalam film industry directed by Arun Joseph wins top honour in 'My Road Reel Film Competition'.

2. UP CM Shri Yogi Adityanath has launched 'Mukhya Mantri Kanya Sumangala Yojona' -in which every girl will be given ₹15,000 after her birth for education and skill development.

3. 'Ramesh Pandey',an Senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer has been selected for the prestigious Asia Environmental Enforcement Award for the year 2019. He was selected by the UN Environment in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

4. India will totally shift Bharat Stage Six i.e BS-VI by Apr 2020. Nearly ₹60,000 crore were spent on this switching over to BS-IV engine vehicle.

5.  Canadian- American and two Swiss Scientists  James Peebles, Michel Mayor, and Didier Queloz won Physics Nobel Prize in 2019 for their work in astronomy.

6. The Delhi Government has launched the ' Farishte Dilli Ke' scheme on 8th October after the successful trial run of the good Samaritan scheme. This schemes aims to helps the accident victims , burn victims and acid attack victims and transfer them quicken to the nearest hospitals.

7. Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the year 2019 has given to John B. Goodenough, M. Stanley Whittingham, and Akira Yoshino by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. They were resasrched on the development of lithium-ion batteries.

8. India ranked 68th in the annual Global Competitiveness Index by WEF. India has dropped to 10 places. This year Singapore has topped the list by replacing US.

9. An American artistic gymnast Simone Biles has won the 21st Worlds Gymnastics Championship medals in Stuttgart, Germany just at the age of 22.

10. The central government has approved the establishment of commercial airport in Kutch, Gujarat. It also approved an investment of about Rs.1,400 crore for the establishment purpose.
