1.  India is home to Asia's oldest bamboo. With over 49,000 plant species reported as of 2018, India holds about 11.5% of flora.

2. Vishnu Nandy becomes the only Indian in the largest ever Arctic expedition. He will make sure the pride for India in this journey.

3.Ministry of Science and Technology launched new set of crackers called Eco – friendly Green crackers. These are fully developed by CSIR .These crackers help to reduce particulate emissions by 30% by producing same level of light and sound.

4. Hellaro  50 Film Festival will held in Goa on 1st week of November. Film 'Nooreh' to be openers of Indian Panorama in this great festival. Russia will be partnered country in this year.

5. Japanese Tennis player Naomi Osaka won the 2019 China Open title. She defeated world number one Ashleigh Barty.

6. National Highway Authority (NHAI) and Google has partnered to strengthen the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogyaa Yojona.(AB-PMJAY)

7. World No.1, Novak Djokovic, won the 2019 Japan Open title on yesterday. He defeated the Australian qualifier John Millman to win the title.

8. Israel has unveiled remains of 5000 year old  city  named En-Esurthey recently. It assuming it exactly the same period of Gangetic valley age.

9.  Indian Women's skipper  Harmanpreet Kaur plays as the first Indian to play 100 T20 matches. No male cricketer has this record till now.

10. Two researchers from the US-William Kaelin and Gregg Semenz and one Britain's Peter Ratcliffe on Monday shared the Nobel Medicine Prize for discoveries on how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability, paving the way for new cancer treatments.
