1.  German Chancellor Angela Merkel  stated that Germany will invest €1 bn for green urban mobility over the next five years.

2. Ministry of Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani has stated Centre will  set up Women Help Desks (WHDs) in ten thousand police stations and for Anti-Human-Trafficking-Units (AHTUs) in the remaining districts of India. The cost to be allocated for the implementation is Rs.100 crores each.

3. PET bottles has banned by the Tamil government during the Sabrimala temple visit. No one can carry a single water bottle during the temple visit.

4. Private sector lender Dhanlaxmi Bank managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) T. Latha has resigned. The bank’s board has accepted the resignation .

5.PM is on an official visit to Thailand to attend the ASEAN, RCEP and East Asia Summits. He addressed the Indian diaspora in the country at the “Sawasdee PM Modi” event in the Thai capital, Bangkok.

6. South Africa has bagged third time Webb Ellis Cup in Rugby by defeating England in the finale. It's the World Cup in rugby.

7. Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Shri Prakash Javadekar stated yesterday that -government  is to confer the Icon of Golden Jubilee of IFFI award to the eminent film personality Shri S Rajinikanth at 50th International Film Festival.

8. Film producer Champak Jain passed away. He was one of the owners of Venus Records and Tapes which produced hit films like the 1994 blockbuster Main Khiladi Tu Anari.

9. Members of SHGs across Tamil Nadu will soon be trained as mental health counselors under 'Manam Inidhu'- who will trained community professionals in the next six months.

10. Sumant Kathpalia has been selected by the private sector lender IndusInd Bank as the new MD & CEO of the bank. Kathpalia is currently serving as the head of consumer loans at the Hindujas-promoted lender.
