1. India's economic slowdown may lighten its carbon emission -the growth of this emission is below 3% from past two years. Also India has move forward towards its renewable energy sources like Solar energies.

2. CARAT - a joint corporate exercise has taken place between India and Bangladesh in Dhaka recently.

3. The Punjab Chief Minister(CM) Amarinder Singh has launched a first of its kind job helpline number 76260-76260 for the unemployed youth of the state under ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar’ programme.

4. National Tribal Festival i.e Adi Mahotsav will kick start from next month in the Capital region . Government has announced its date.

5. ADB will provide a $451 million (nearly Rs.3,200 crore) loan to strengthen power connectivity between southern and northern parts of Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor (CKIC) in Tamil Nadu.

6. Finland based Kone Corporation has established a ₹450 crore investment near Chennai for escalators and elevators.

7. RBI slaps fine worth of ₹5 crore on the Mehsana Urban Co-operative Bank in Gujarat due to the violation of norms and lending related issues on its Manager.

8. A private sector lender, IndusInd Bank has appointed its consumer banking head Suman Kathpalia, as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

9. The biennial Commonwealth Law Ministers’ Conference is being held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 4-7 November 2019. India will be represented at the conference by Union Minister for Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad. The theme of this event is  Equal Access to Justice and the Rule of Law’.

10. Former President of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Chairman of Modi Enterprises Krishnan Kumar Modi(K.K) passed away recently.
