1. Indian women’s hockey team captain Rani Rampal and ace pistol shooter Saurabh Chaudhary won the Sports Person of the Year awards at the FICCI India Sports Awards 2019.

2. UNESCO with Dell Technologies has signed an agreement  Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace (MGIEP) to enable school teachers to adopt technology in classrooms by using Information Communication Technology (ICT) tools.

6.  Haryana's  Gurugram-based startup blue Sky Analytics has created an application called ‘Zuri’ that won the Copernicus Masters Award also called Space Oscars, under the Social Entrepreneurship category.

7. Honorable Finance Minister Dr. Nirmala Sitharaman along with HCL Corporation CEO and Executive Director Roshni Nadar Malhotra and Biocon Founder Kiran Mazumdar Shaw have been included in the world's 100 most powerful women's list by FORBES.

8. The ‘International Seminar on Climate Smart Farming Systems’ for BIMSTEC countries began in New Delhi aims to share of improvement of tropical smallholder farming systems for greater productivity and resilience to climate change through ecological approaches.

9. IIM- Rohtak has organised yesterday the seventh PAN-IIM World Management Conference on how contemporary issues of public policy need to be understood properly for progresses.

10. Rating agency MOODY has cuts India's GDP rate to 5.6% for 2019 and also predicted the rate for the next financial year within a range between 6.6%-6.7%.
