2. The Central Bank of India asks banks to waive NEFT charges from upcoming months to promote widely the digital transaction.

3. Google Earth has captured almost 98% of the population of the earth and has captured 10 million miles of Street View imagery, a distance that could circle the globe more than 400 times. It is doing  enormous job through this application in different places.

4. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, former Prime Minister (PM) of Algeria was elected as the President of Algeria succeeding Abdelkader Bensalah.

5. Edelweiss Asset Management Company (AMC), a subsidiary of Edelweiss Capital Limited (ECL) has launched India’s 1st Corporate Bond ETF (exchange trade fund) called the Bharat Bond ETF.

6. Vice Chief M.M Narvane will become next Army Chief after the retirement of the present Chief Bipin Rawat.

8. England's champion all rounder cricketer Ben Stokes has become the BBC Sports Personality of the year .

9. Air Marshal D Choudhury has taken charge as new Commandant of National Defence College. He took over the charge from Vice Admiral Srikant.

10. Yesterday i.e 16th Dec the nation celebrates as Vijay Diwas to commemorate India's victory over Pakistan in 1971 war.
