1. Hallmarking of gold jewelry and artifacts will be made mandatory across the country from January 15, 2021. The step aims to ensure the purity of the precious metal. The decision will make it compulsory for all the jewelers to register with the Bureau of Indian Standards and sell only hallmarked gold jewelry and artifacts.

2. Intel India has designed its 3,00,000 sq. ft design and Engineering centre in Hyderabad, through which next technological generation will be benefited.

3. Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises reported that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector has contributed over 29% of Gross domestic product (GDP) and over 49% of Indian exports. The report was submitted by the Union MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari.

4. Mercedes racer Lewis Hamilton has won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It is his 84th carrier win.

5. Uber has announced , its second Centre of Excellence i.e CoE will set up in Visakhapatnam, Andhra. It has already operates a CoE in Hyderabad.

6. Serbia pipeline cementing the Russia-China bonding. Approx 8,000 km distance it shall cover and the estimated cost for this will be $400 bn. It will complete in next 30 year.

7. Nepal's Anjali Chanda on Monday scripted history by producing the best bowling , taking 6/0 in a T20 match against Maldives.


8. Nagaland CM Neiphu Rio officially has inaugurated the multi-media exhibition at world war-II museum , Kisama , Nagaland.

9. 13th South Asian Games have formally begun in Kathmandu, Nepal.Over 2700 athletes from seven south Asian countries participated in the match.

10. The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is being observed by the United Nations since 1992. The aim of the day is to promote well-being of the persons with disabilities and to increase awareness of their situation in social, political cultural and economic ways.
