1. Defence deals worth ₹33,000 crore have been placed with the Ordinance Factory Board and Bahrat Electronics Ltd in the last two months -according to the defence ministry.

2. India's FOREX reserves cross $450 bn for the first time. RBI buys dollars to check sharp appreciation of rupee.

3. Former India cricketer GS Lakshmi is set to become the first woman match referee to the upcoming ICC tournaments.

4. 'Madhu' app -an learning app for children in Odia  language launched in Odisha by Naveen Patnaik.

5. Joker movie star Joaquin Phoenix has been named 2019 international PETA person of the year award recently.

6. The Mumbai Central station of Railways was conferred with the ‘Eat Right Station’ certification with four stars rating by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), as a part of ‘Eat Right India’ movement launched last year.

7. Bosnia country takes it full control over its air space.  It's a land locked country . Initially it was in hand of NATO.

8. Indian running machine Virat Kohli, captain of Indian cricket  team has topped the ICC test ranking , replaced Australian Steve Smith.

9. Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB) and Canara, HSBC, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Life Insurance Company Ltd. signed an MoU for bancassurance (for selling life insurance products through the branches of KVGB).

10.RBI, in its 5th Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Committee meeting, the Reserve Bank of India has decided to keep the policy repo rate unchanged to 5.15%. The marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate also remains same i.e. 5.40%.
