8. The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) 43rd Governing Council meeting was held in Rome, Italy. The 43rd sessions will focus on the overarching theme “Investing in sustainable food systems to end hunger by 2030″.

9. Haryana based Indian young Javelin thrower 'Amit Dahiya' penalized for for sending a proxy for the dope test and goes for four year ban by NADA.

10. Lewis Hamilton and Leo Messi have jointly clinched  L aureus World Sportsman of the year. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar  have won sporting best moment personality in last 20 years for 2011's world cup winning. Simone Biles won the best women sports player of the year award.
