1. National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences( NHMANS) starts to help the ITBP staff to beat the stress. Earlier it also helped the police in Tamil Nadu.

2. National Crime Records  Bureau has reported that most missing women and children found in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh followed by Bengal in last year.

3. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has received 'Central Banker of the Year' award in the Asia Pacific region for great contribution in  last financial year.

4. India and Maldives have signed five MOU for establishing ' Addu Tourism zone' with the cost of 2.49 million US dollar.

5. Sri Lanks has been ranked first in a new survey conducted by the World Breastfeeding Trends Initiative (WBTi) on Breast Feeding support Policies and Programs.

6. 2nd February was celebrated as 'World Wetland Day' by the Ramsar Secretariat. This year the theme was : Wetlands and Biodiversity'.

7. Vinod Shukla has won the inaugural Mathrubhumi Book of the year award for his translated English book named 'Blue is Like Blue'

8. Rajasthan state has flagged off ' Mukti Caravan' to mobilize people against child trafficking and other abusive things on them recently.

9. Manshi Joshi Singh, Marry Kom, PV Sindhu, Dutee Chand, Phogat are selected to receive the BBC's best female sportsperson of the year.

10. World Cancer Day is celebrated annually on 4th February by the Union for International Cancer Control . The theme in this year is ' I am I will'
