1. Due to Covid-19 effects Spain moved to close its land borders as the virus spreads enormously. Already a young football coach named Francisco Garcia has died due corona virus recently. He was just 21 year old.

2. A transgender football team has been formed in Manipur . The northeastern state is now is planning to host the country's first team of transmen .

3. Former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has been nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the President of India under Art.80 sub-clause-A.

4. 'Phool Dei' festival has started in the Kumaon and Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand which showcases the inner bonding between the communities who are residing in the hills.

5. Taiwan's female shuttler Tai Tzu Ying has clinched her careers third women  single title of All England Badminton championship at Birmingham in UK.

6. USA begun the first human trial that evaluating COVID-19 vaccine. It will enroll 45 adult volunteers between age 18-55 for a period of six weeks in order to test the vaccine. 


7. Central government has set an ambitious target to achieve sales of around 70 lakh hybrid and electric vehicles by the end of 2020 under FAME scheme-2015.

8. The Manipur State government has come forward to provide benefits to sportsperson and artistes of the state and the country. The announcement was made by the Chief Minister N Biren Singh on 15 March.

9. After huge discussion with higher authorities  Prashant Kumar has been appointed as Chief Executive and Managing Director of the Yes Bank. Sunil Mehta has been appointed as non-executive chairman of YES Bank. 


10. Rajya Sabha recently passed a bill to give the 'Central status' to three Sanskrit deemed universities in the country. The designation shall provide by University Grant Commission.
