1. The effect of COVID-19 claimed the third victim in the country. number of cases has risen to 137 and restricted the entry of people from Philippines, Afghanistan and Malaysia. ICMR chief B Bhargava has said that there will be set up  of 50 new testing lab.

9. The Philippines Stock exchange becomes the first stock market in the world has closed indefinitely while currency and bond trading suspended.

10. Scientists from Institute of Nano-science and Technology under dept. of Science and Technology have developed starch based 'Hemostat' that will prevent rapid blood loss during any severe accident.
