1.Centre has approved the proposal of setting up of National Technical Textiles Mission with an outlay of ₹1480 crores. It shall take 2021 to maximum 2024.

2. The Lok Sabha on 20th Mar passed a bill on to confer the status of Institution of National Importance (INI) on five more IIITs. They have recorded 100% placement.

3. SBI becomes the first PSB in the country that has opened emergency credit line for COVID-19 with a maximum limit of ₹200 crore.

4. Legendary footballer and first Arjuna awardee and former Indian captain Pradip Kumar(PK) Banerjee has passed away at the age of 84. He represented India in 36th official international football matches.   

5. World happiness Report by UN has announced that Finland again become the top happiest country among 156 country in the world. India ranked 144 in the list.

6. The government has created a Whats app chatbot for the queries on novel Corona virus named 'Mygov Corona Helpdesk'.

7. Former SBI Chairman Arundhati Bhattarya  has resigned from the post of independent director of CRISIL which will effective from 15th Apr.

8. Today i.e 21st March United Nation celebrate as the 'International day of Forest' .It aims to spread the awareness about the importance of forest in the environment. This year the theme is 'Forest and Biodiversity'.

9. COVID-19 cases rose to 236 in India after 63 new cases were reported in a day. The government in the national capital and Maharashtra announced the shutdown of public places, Bengal registered its third cases.

10. Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is going to start Swavalamban Express on 5th June 2020 from Lucknow. The main aim to promote budding business aspirants and entrepreneurs.
