1. Latest Period Labour Force survey has revealed a report that due the recent ongoing  COVID-19 threat related lockdown may have an immediate impact on close to 2.5 crore people in vulnerable jobs across India.

2. Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud will hold a video conference on 26th March to chair G20 virtual summit that includes the leaders form invited countries like Spain, Singapore, Switzerland , Jordan as well as some international organisation like WTO,WHO,World Bank etc.

3. Indian origin American author Ruchika Tomar has received the prestigious 2020 PEN/Hemingway Award for her debut novel 'A Prayer for Travelers' .

4. IIT Madras is organising  India's first Global Hyperloop Pod Competition named as ‘Indian Hyperloop Pod Competition’ to increase awareness and enthusiasm about Hyperloop in India. The term 'Hyperloop' indicates the 5th mode mode of transport having speed more than 1000kmps.

5.  Spain has overtaken China's virus death toll in one day and takes the lace just after Italy. It has registered number of casualties rise by 738 in a single day due to corona.

6. The Hindu Prize-2019 has delivered by the eminent juries. For fiction it goes to Mirza Waheed (Tell Her Every Thing) and for non-fiction the award goes to Santanu Das (India, Empire,and First World War Culture).

7. The world governing body of Chess  FIDE (The Fédération Internationale des Échecs) has put off the Olympiad schedule for August 5 to 17 in Moscow to 2021 due to COVID-19.

8. The National Book Trust(NBT) functioning under Ministry of Human Resource and Development has launched an initiative named 'Stay Home India with Book Initiative'. More than 1000 books can be downloaded freely in different language from its website during the period of lockdown. 

9. Under the Chairmanship pf PM Shri Narendra Modi the Union Cabinet has approved the recapitalisation of Regional Rural banks (RRB's) to improve the Capital to Risk Weighted Asset Ration (CRAR) . The recapitalisation funds are being allocated to those banks that are unable to maintain minimum CRAR of 9%.

10. DST's(Department of Science and Technology) working part the 'International Advanced Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Material's(ARCI)' has developed a technology to improve fuel efficiency by reducing friction in the engines.
