1. PM Modi on Saturday announced for the donations to the newly formed 'PM-CARES' fund through which people from all walks of life can expressed their desire to donate to India's war against COVID-19.

2. Due to lockdown condition across the country wildlife reclaims its territory, lakhs of Olive Ridley turtles have come for mass nesting at the Rishikulya rookery in Odisha.

3.Jaipur's The Sawai Man Singh Government Hospital is conducting the series of trials on a humanoid robot to provide services to the COVID-19 patients. It is aimed to keep the doctors and nursing staff at a safe distance to protect them from the deadly viral infections.


4. Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed the officials to ensure the disbursal of pensions on 1st April and ₹1000 to the novel corona virus affected poor on 14th April.

5. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has chosen recent Nobel laureate Abhijeet Bnaerjee to help to give advice on how to tide over the economic situation in the state due to Corona scenario.

6. Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare has launched CoNTeC is Covid-19 telecommunication centre. It aims to connect the doctors in the country with All India Institute of Medical Science (AIMS).

7. Eminent US's Civil Rights leader Reverend Joseph Lowery has passed away at the age of 98. He campaigned closely alongside the great Martin Luther King for racial equality.

8. Goa becomes the fist state in the country to launch a self assessment tool named 'Test Yourself Goa' for COVID-19. It helps the people to identify if they are infected by the virus without visiting a doctor or hospital.


9. The Chairman of Tata Trust Ratan Tata has promised to donate ₹500 crore to fight against the recent pandemic COVID-19 . The funds will be used for purchasing the medical equipment and and testing kit .

10. The Union Ministry of Power Shri RK Singh has approved a great measure to provide power supply 24*7 to all the consumers and also announced due to lockdown the customers have not paid their dues.
