1. Researchers have found that Corona virus are sensitive to humidity and are less likely to thrive at moderate levels of humidity , a series of experimental studies also shown the fact.

2. Tokyo Olympic will be held from 23rd July to 8th August in the year 2021. No qualification events to be scheduled until further notice. World athletics championship moved to 2022.


3. Asian Development Bank shall invest $100 mn into the  National Investment and Infrastructure Fund(NIIF) of India which is India's first sovereign wealth fund was set up in 2015 by government of India.

4. Maharashtra hospitals has adopted a new technology to fight against novel corona virus. It has been named as 'Scitech Airon'. It helps to control bacteria, virus and fungal infections.

5. North Macedonia officially became the 30th member of NATO Military alliance. It was previously known as Macedonia ,a name it shared with a Greek province .

6.  The Union Minister of Oil Dharmendra Pradhan said that Saudi Arabia has approved the request to provide liquid petroleum gas (LPG) supplies to India for supporting India's domestic requirements.

7. Former Union minister from the Samajwadi Party, Beni Prasad Verma passed away. He was minister from UP. BP Verma served as the telecom and steel minister and former eminent Lok Sabha member from 1996-2014.

8. BP Kanungo was reappointed as the Deputy Governor of RBI recently with one year of extension effected from 27th March. He was also served as the one of the executive director of  the Central Bank.


9. National Institute of Mental Health and Nero-Sciences (NIMHANS) working under  Government of India has launched a toll free helpline number 08046110007 for the people who may face any mental health issue due to the spreading of Corona disease in the ongoing lockdown scenario. 

10.  Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has launched PRAGYAAM, a Mobile application, on 30 March. The app aims to issue e-passes to everyone associated with the delivery of essential services during the nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19.
