1. The arrival of first batch of Indian Air Forces Rafale fighter jets is likely to be delayed by three months due to the effect of COVID-19.

2. Odisha administration on Sunday has banned the renowned Meru Jatra festival and congregation related to it at temples on the occasion of Mahavishub Sankranti on 13th April.


3. Telangana government has postponed All Common Entrance Test owing to prevailing COVID-19 situation, govt also decided to extend the lockdown up to 30th April.

4. State Maharashtra accounted for nearly 50% national death toll , COVID-19 tally shoots up to 1982 , Dharavi in Mumbai recorded 15 new cases on Sunday.

5. Bihar Education Project Council has launched a mobile application along with AIR for class VI-XII , The name of the mobile app is' Unnayan : Mera Mobile, Mera Vidyalaya'.

6. North Korean Leader Kim's sister Kim-Yo-jong has been reappointed an alternative member of the North Korean Political Bureau.

7. London based Motorsport  legend Stirling Moss has passed away at the age of 90 due to prolonged illness. He won British GP in the year 1955.


8. Centre has provided over Rs.28,000 crore support through Direct Benefit Transfer to around 32 crore beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY) announced in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

9. Yesterday the University Grant Commission(UGC) has formed an expert committee to recommended the proper use of online materials and boost up the online education system in the country during the lockdown period. Already 'Bharat Padhe online'  portal has been launched recently.

10. Ministry of Human Resource and Development has recently launched  'YUKTI'  portal to record, cover and monitor initiatives of MHRD and other educational initiative in the country.
