1. The Delhi High Court has directed the city government to ensure food, water , power and sanitation for stranded workers because approx above 4000 are placed in that region.

2. The All Indian Institute of Medical Science(AIIMS) in Delhi has deployed robots in advanced COVID-19 ward to help promote physical distancing between health workers and those who are infected.


3. After coming rigorous complaints from various states about faulty testing kits the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has directed them to stop using rapid test kits for next two days.

4. An official release came from Rastrapati Bhavan that over 100 families went on self isolation within the President's Estate after one person tested positive for pandemic COVID-19.

5. Odisha CM Shri Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday has announced that martyr status would be accorded to all health personnel and other health support stuffs who lost their lives fighting COVID-19.

7. The largest number of nests of rare leatherback sea turtles found in Thailand beaches due to the bereft of tourists because of the coronavirus pandemic, a report has come from environmentalist.

8. World Earth day is celebrated on 22nd April to spread awareness about the protection of environment. This year the theme is 'Climate Action'.
 

9. A 1988 IIT graduate Sudarsan Babu has been selected as the United States National Science Board for the next six years in that particular prestigious post.

10. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has launched '@COVIDIndiaSeva'  an interactive platform where people can pose queries and get answer on Twitter.
