1. Centre has taken a $1.5 bn loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to fund its immediate response to COVID-19 in terms of health and socio-economic impacts.

9. Copernicus European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts scientists group has reported that the largest hole in the Ozone layer spreading over 1 million square kilometers above the Arctic has closed due to unusual atmospheric conditions.

The Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has announced an insurance cover of ₹50 lakh for the front line journalists who are covering COVID-19.Earlier the state had announced a similar insurance cover of Rs.50 lakh for health, police, and other front line people engaged in the severe virus condition.
