1. FIFA, the International Federation of  Association Football has postponed the under-17 women's world cup to November 2020 due to COVID-19 threats. It was scheduled to be conducted in India's different cities.

2. India is seeking as much as $6 billion of loans from big financial institutions such as the Asian Development Bank to bolster its efforts to fight the coronavirus outbreak. World Bank has already committed to give $1 billion.

3. About 42% of those confirmed positive for COVID-19 in India are between the ages of 21-42 years old- as per Union Health Ministry report.Death toll rises to 109 in India with 4067 cases.

4. Though India has banned the export of 'Hydroxychloroquine'(a drug that uses in the treatment of COVID-19), but after the call of Trump to PM Modi it left the option of export open to fulfill 'export obligation' and on 'humanitarian' ground.   

5. The Bacillus Calmette-Guerin in popularly known word BCG vaccine could be a game changer in the fight against deadly Corona virus -US scientist has revealed this.

6. The National Investigating Agency(NIA) has registered its first overseas case and will examine the terror strike on 'Kabul Gurdwara' in the last month where 27 Indian's died. Yesterday its mastermind also captured by the agency.

7. Odisha government has launched 'Mo Prativa' programme in collaboration with UNICEF for the children in the state recently. Through this programme the children at the age between 5-18 years are eligible to participate various online competition such as drawing, paintings, short story writing, etc.

8. Union Health Minister Shri Harsha Vardhan has announced that over 50 crore vulnerable and poor citizens are eligible under 'Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojona' i.e in Ayushman Bharat scheme.

9. International Day for 'Mine Awareness and Assistance' is observed on April 4 each year due to raise awareness about landmines and progress toward their eradication.


10. AICTE( All India Council for Technical Education) has launched “MHRD AICTE COVID-19 Student Helpline Portal” to address the issues faced by students due to closure of colleges and hostels amid national lockdown.
