1. Madhya Pradesh becomes the first state to launch an innovative scheme named ' FIR Aapke Dwar Yojana' . Under this scheme, a person need not go to the police station to dodge a complaint.

2. Union Ministry of MSME has launched the 'CHAMPIONS' portal, a Technology-driven Control Room-Cum-Management Information System. It stands for the 'Creation and Harmonious Application of Modern Processes for Increasing the Output and National Strength'.

3. International Nurse Day was celebrated around the world on 12 May . The theme for 2020 International Nurses Day is "Nurses: A Voice to Lead – Nursing the World to Health."


4. Yesterday at 8 PM Prime Minister Modi has announced Rs. 20 Lakh crore economic stimulus package (estimated 10% of the Indian GDP) and lockdown 4.0 . PM said it will focus on self-reliance.

5. Under the 'Operation Samudra Setu' INS Magar has carried 202 Indians from Maldives and arrived at the Kochi port on Tuesday.

6. NIT(National Institute of Technology) Karnataka has developed an economical ,transparent and reusable face shield which cost only Rs.12, locally available, to fight against COVID-19.

8. Former Indian national Table Tennis champion Manmeet Singh Walia has passed away at the age of just 58. He won  TT junior and doubles title.

7. Mining baron Anil Agarwal is planning to take delist Vedanta Ltd from the Indian Stock Exchange at a price of Rs.87.5 each.

9. Jharkhand based Sohrai Khovar painting and Telia Rumal from state Telangana are goes to Geographical Indication Tag (GI) on 12th May. The unique rumal can only be created with traditional handloom process.

10. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) from Bengaluru has created a record developing ventilator named 'Swasthvayu'. The special feature of this ventilator help reduce the fear against COVID-19.
