Top 10 Current Affairs of 11th June :

1. FSSAI i.e. Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has recently launched food safety index-2019 rankings. The index was prepared on the basis of five parameters . Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra have topped the list.

2. West Bengal government has received a loan amount of ₹1950 crore from the World Bank to tackle COVID-19 situation and logistic developmental work in the state. CM Mamata Banerjee has announced it in her press conference on Monday.

3. Central Pollution Control Board i.e. CPCB has stated it will classify the railway stations under the three categories : Red, Orange and Green based on the quantity of waste water generated.

4. Twitter has announced to mark 19th June as holiday to commemorate the U.S abolition of slavery by the president Abraham Lincoln's emancipation proclamation on 19th June 1865. CEO Jack Dorsey stated the announcement.

5. Doctor Reddy's Laboratory (DRL) has acquired Wockhardt divisions with amendment pact of ₹1850 crore . It involved the business comprising a portfolio of 62 brands in multiple therapy areas.

6. Two times Commonwealth Gold medalist weight lifter Sanjita Chanu was exonerated of doping charges on 10th June after more than two and half years by WADA.

7. An aerospace entrepreneur Renjith Kumar has been awarded with NASA Distinguished Medal for his long 30 year association with US space agency.

8. Centre has released ₹.6,195 crore to 14 states as a monthly installment of the post-devolution revenue deficit grant on 10 June. It is the third equated-monthly installment of the post-devolution revenue deficit grant as recommended by the 15th Finance Commission.

9. US rating agency Fitch  stated that India's economy is forecast to grow with a sharp growth rate of 9.5% in 2021 if the country can resolve the further deterioration in financial sector health. It has forecasted a 5% contraction in the GDP in the ongoing financial year 2020-21.

10. Recently India has signed a MoU on “Energy Cooperation” with Denmark to develop a strong, deep and long-term co-operation between two nations in the power sector.
