1. Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Uddav Thackeray has launched Mumbai's new flood warning system called 'IFLOWS-Mumbai'. It will help the people of Mumbai in a big way as it can predicts floods.

2. Dr. Rattan Lall, an Indian-American soil scientist has won the prestigious 2020 World Food Prize for his enormous contribution to increasing the global food supply by helping small farmers improve the health of the soil. He will receive 250,000 USD of prize money.

3. Bangladeshi government led by Sheikh Hasina has launched ‘Shohojodha’, an online network to facilitate plasma exchange between recovered patients of COVID-19 treatment.

4. Union Agriculture Minister Shri Narendra Shri Tomar has launched 'Shahakar Mitra scheme'. It will assist the cooperative institution to access innovative ideas of young professionals. This is an internship program for the youths in the country.

5. World Day Against Child Labour (or Anti-Child Labor Day) is observed on 12 June every year by the International Labour Organisation. The day focuses on vocal against the child labour in the world.

6. Twitter has announced yesterday in a report that it has removed more than 1,70,000 accounts linked to China's campaign including the fake news about the COVID-19. The network also focuses heavily on Hong Kong issues.

7. Indian Foreign reserve has reached up to the mark with ﹩8.2 bn in a week , the total reserve has crossed ﹩500 bn for the first time .

8. Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has released its Economic Outlook and has forecasted Indian Economy to decline to 3.7% in the fiscal year 2020-21.

9. Recently FIFA has released the rankings of the countries according to their performances. Indian football team has retained 108th position, Belgium remained the top spot followed by France and Brazil respectively.

10. Three DST institution(TIFR,IISC,CSIR) gets place in 2020 Nature Index rankings recently . The top three countries in the index are US, China and Germany respectively. The overall rankings of India is 12th in the index.
