1. PM Modi has stated 'India will protect every inch of its territory' about the rising tension between India and China at Galwan valley of Ladakh.' Loss of 20 brave soldiers is very painful' -said defence minister Rajnath Singh.

2. West Bengal government for IT professionals has launched a job portal in the name of ‘KarmaBhumi’ for the migrant workers who have returned to the state amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

3. On forthcoming Sunday, 21st June the Earth is to witness an annual solar eclipse . The eclipse will be visible in various part of India. The eclipse is to be the deepest as the moon is to cover  approx. 99% of the Sun.

4. Former Indian footballer and captain IM Vijayan has been recommended for the Padmashri award by the All India Football Federation. He has scored 40 goals in over 79 matches.

5. Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has finally approved $750 million loan to India to fight against the pandemic COVID-19 crisis. It will aid some economic crisis too.

6. German Football club Bayern Munich has crowned German Bundesliga championship for an eight straight time with their marvelous 1-0 win.

7. A new fish species named as “Schizothorax sikusirumensis” has been discovered in Arunachal Pradesh. The fish specially found in southern and western part of China and south Asia region.

8. Recently Jal Shakti Ministry has announced that the labourers returning to their home states due to this severe condition of COVID-19 will be deployed for the Jal Jeevan Mission for providing 55lit/person piped drinking water to all rural households by 2024.

9. Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, PM of Kyrgyzstan has resigned from the post, citing an ongoing criminal investigation into the assignment of national radio frequencies.


10. Union Ministry of Sports has recently launched 'KHELO INDIA State Centres of Excellence' in 8 states of India. The schemes are located in Kerala, Arunachal, Manipur, Nagaland, Odisha, Telangana and Mizoram. The key focus to create robust sporting ecosystem in the country.
