1. Union Ministry of Public Grievance and Pension Shri Jitendra Singh has recently launched the first psychological parameter monitoring system for COVID-19 patients called 'COVID-BEEP'. It is basically continuous Oxygenation and Vital Information Detection Biomed ECIL ESIC Pod.

2. Central government of India has allocated a provision of Rs.1,01,500 crore under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in the current financial year 2020-2021.

3. M Nethra, a 13 year old Madurai girl from Tamil Nadu has been appointed as the ‘Goodwill Ambassador for the Poor’ by the United Nations Association for Development and Peace.(UNADP). She got scholarship of amount ₹1 lakh.

4. According to the Periodic Labour Force Survey by the NSO (National Statistical Office) has revealed that the percentage of self employed household in rural India declined from 52.2% to 51.7% in the FY19. They also reported that data in urban India declined from 32.4% to 31.8%.

5.Jacinda Ardern , the Prime Minister of New Zealand has declared on Monday that it has now completely free from COVID-19, lifted the restriction after long 75 days.

6. World Ocean Day is observed globally on 8th June every year to spread awareness about the importance of the ocean in our lives. This year the theme was “Innovation for a Sustainable Ocean.”

7. The 2019 Asian Athletics championship 800 m category Gold Medalist, Gomathi Marimuthu has been banned for four years by the Athletic Integrity Unit due to the presence of prohibited substance in her body during playing.

8. According to World Bank , the Indian economy is expected to contract by 3.2% in the fiscal year of 2021 due to severe effect to pandemic COVID-19. It also expected the financial growth of India shall be 3.1% in FY2022 , reported in recent Global Economy Prospects, June 2020.

9. 2015 Australian World Cup winning Captain Michel Clarke has been honoured as 'the Order of Australia' by the authority. Former captain Steve Waugh and Rickey Ponting are also in the list .

10. A 1985 batch IFS officer Monika Kapil Mohta has been appointed as the next ambassador of India to Switzerland. She in presently working as the ambassador of India to Sweden.
