1. Indian Council of World Affairs and Russian International Affairs Council held a virtual meeting on 'India-Russia relations in the context of post pandemic global order'. The two countries agreed to create an ecosystem of startups to develop information technology.

2. Ossouka Raponda has been appointed as the first woman prime minister of Gabon. She becomes the 12th PM of the country and succeeds Julien Nkoghe Bekale.

3. State Tamil Nadu has emerged as the country's top investment destination in the first quarter in this financial year according to the latest ' Project Survey' released by Projects Today.

4. United Nation Security Council's 1267 has blacklisted Tehreek e-Taliban Pakistan terror group's leader Noor Wali Mehsud as the global terrorist as he continuously associated with the key factor for al-Qaeda for financing terror in the world.

5. Union Urban Ministry has launched PM SVANidhi app. It aims to provide user friendly digital interface for lending institution and their functionaries to source and process loan applications of street vendors. The scheme will provide working capital of ₹10,000 as working loan capital to the street vendors.

6. India’s wealthiest woman, Roshni Nadar Malhotra has been appointed as the the new chairman of Noida-based IT company, HCL Technologies. She will replace her father, Shiv Nadar.

7. Odisha government has recently announced that the transgender community will be include under states unique Madhu Babu Pension Yojana. Under the scheme around 5000 transgenders to be received ₹500, ₹700 and ₹900 per month as pension.

8. Mandela Day is observed on 18 July every year across the globe. The special day is aimed honour Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black president, Nobel Prize winner, and anti-apartheid icon.

9. India has ranked third top-most country in the Global Manufacturing Risk Index 2020, has moved one place higher from the previous edition of the report. China and the United States retain the top two positions respectively.

10. The Assamese government has decided to start an extensive campaign to encourage plasma donation in the state from today. The donors of the state will get preferences in all government jobs and interviews. The donors will get the same benefits for others state too.
