1. World Bank will finance 70% of the canal based water supply initiative for Amritsar and Ludhiana cities under the intervention of Punjab government. The government has approved $285.71 million for the project from World Bank.

2. National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) have launched Unified Payment Interface (UPI) AutoPay facility for the recurring payments like mobile bills, electricity bills, EMI payments etc.

3. Indian veteran cinema actor Sonu Sood has launched a mobile application named 'Pravasi Rojgar'. It will provide all necessary information to find jobs and other job related programs. The application is free of cost.

4. American private solar exploration corporation SpaceX has successfully launched South Korea’s first military satellite “ANASIS-II”. It was deployed into a geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) by a Falcon 9 rocket.

5. A 59 year old Indian-origin nurse named Kala Narayanasamy in Singapore has been conferred with prestigious President's award for nurses for serving on the frontline work during COVID-19 pandemic.

6. The UIC General Assembly has appointed India's  Shri Arun Kumar as the Vice-Chairman of the Paris based International Union of Railways recently. India is one of the active member of this union.

7. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah is launching 'Vriksharopan Abhiyan' scheme through video conference in more than 130 different location among 38 districts. The scheme will focus on creating green spaces by tree planting in the environment.

8. One of India's legendary animation director Arnab Chaudhuri to receive the ‘Legend of Animation’ award instituted by the Toonz Media Group. Arnab was well known for his own animated movie 'Arjun'.

9. India has successfully conducted the flight trial of 'Dhruvastra' anti-guided missile at the test centre of Odisha on 22nd July. The trials of the helicopter launched Nag missile (HELINA) were successful , which is a third generation of anti-tank guided missile.

10. At Balasore district of Odisha a rare yellow turtle has spotted by a farmer. The turtle is known as the 'Indian flap shell turtle' which is the product of albinism. The special species is omnivorous.
