1. According to World Bank's country classification based on their Income level Nepal has moved to 'Lower-Middle Income economy' while Sri Lankan economy downed  to 'Lower-Middle Income' category.

2. World Zoonoses Day is globally observed on 6th July every year by WHO. The term 'Zoonoses' defines those diseases, are  transmitted from animals to humans and vice versa. Few examples are like Ebola, Swine flu, Encephalitis, COVID 19, etc.

3. Indian digital giant platform owner Reliance has finally unveiled 'JioMeet' video conference application with unlimited free calling available across Windows, iOS, Android, MacOS and Web. It will be available on 24*7 and meetings are encrypted and password protected.

4. Madhya Pradesh state Tourism board has started a social media campaign named 'Intzaar Aap Ka' to describe the characteristics of the tourism destination in the state through photos and videos.

5. Honourable Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has recently launched the first Indian Social media super app named 'Elyments'. Data of the users will be stored in the app and will never be shared with a third party without users full consent. The app will allow the users to stay in touch through a vibrant feed, seamless free audio/video calls, and private/group chats.

6. Chinese two times Olympic gold medalist, eminent badminton player  Lin Dan has announced his retirement on Saturday just ate the age of 36. He won gold in Beijing-2008 and London-2012 .

7.  Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has developed an innovative virtual classroom named 'Mobile Masterjee' . It is designed to record the lectures by the faculty using smartphones. It can capture the videos in vertical and horizontal position.

8. According to 'UN's Global E-Waste Monitor 2020' report India ranks third largest electronic waste generator in the world after China and America. Europe ranked first worldwide in terms of e-waste generation per capita with the value 16.2 kg/capita.

9. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has made an agreement with Facebook to launch a free and comprehensive training program for teachers and students . It will be for three weeks in which approximately 10,000 teachers and students will be trained on digital safety and well being.

10 . In association with NABARD , state government of Odisha has recently launched a scheme named ‘BALARAM’ to provide agricultural credit of ₹ 1,040 crore to landless farmers facing hardships during COVID 19.
