1. Reliance Industry chairman Mukesh Ambani has announced that his company Jio will offer 5G technology to develop cheap smartphone in the country by next year. He also revealed tech giant Google has agreed to invest ₹33,737 crore to acquire 7.7% stake in Jio platform.

2. According to the recent Lancet study Indian population is likely to peak by 2047 at about 1.61 billion and then decline to 1.03 billion by 2100.

3. Indian eminent personality Ashok Lavasa has been selected as the Vice President of Manila based Asian Development Bank. He was also in line contestant of next Chief election commissioner of India.

4. Pune based Serum Institute of India Pvt. Limited's indigenously developed Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccine gets final nod  by the Drug Controller General of India (DGCI).

5. The Airports Authority of India has joined hand with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and signed a MoU aims to tap the emerging global markets in the airport business.

6. China has recently successfully launched a telecommunication satellite named “APSTAR-6D” via a Long March 3B carrier rocket from Xichang Satellite Launch Center. It aims to provide high-speed communications with a capacity of almost 50 gigabytes/sec.
